How can you simply present the various combinations of seven seats? How are customers able to directly see additional accessories on the vehicle? BMW wanted to extend the same flexibility and comfort that draws high-income families with children to the BMW 2 to the vehicle customisation process. Both clients and in store BMW Product Genius’s should be able to view the numerous customisation possibilities directly on the car in front of them. Naturally, the app should be user intuitive and mix attractive information with interactive elements.
SOLUTION | MOBILE APP WITH AUGMENTED REALITY AND INTERACTIVE CONTENT
The BMW augmented reality app makes it easy to customise the new BWM 2 – simply build your dream car interactively. In addition to the many paint and wheel combinations, the app also displays high-resolution 3D models of all accessories to scale and in the correct position; such as bike racks and roof boxes. Without having to enter the vehicle, the customer is also able to fold the seats and admire the storage space. In this virtual and realistic manner, countless product functions can be displayed.
