The Wallbox Pro is more than just a home charging station, aside from providing a fast, safe, and smart power supply to the car, the Wallbox has intelligent functions that manage charging and electricity usage within the Smart Home program, ‘myGEKKO’. For this innovative concept, BMW wanted to address marketing in the digital future. The vision was specific: explore interactively, learn easily, and discover playfully. Customers should experience all of the benefits of the Wallbox in these realms. Since Augmented Reality is the engine of digital communication and stands for innovation and intuition, the task was clear: create an Augmented Reality mobile app.
IT’S MAGIC – DISCOVER AUGMENTED REALITY NOW
Innovation and Emotion: BMW has integrated Augmented Reality into both its marketing and communication. All features can be interactively explored while electricity mobility is emotively discovered in a blend of media and technology. But the big question still remains… does the Wallbox fit in my garage? Previously, customers had to go DIY to ensure they had enough space; but, in BMW’s new Wallbox app, just point a virtual image directly onto the garage wall to check it fits before you buy. Once installed, just point a tablet or smartphone at the Wallbox to activate the X-ray feature and reveal a glimpse into the internal processes: innovative technology from BMW.
