What is required for creating model-based tracking?

This article informs you about model-based tracking modes and the requirements needed for creating model-based tracking.

Note: When creating model-based tracking, two tracking algorithms are available: static and dynamic model-based tracking.

The static mode is mainly used to support legacy tracking configurations. It uses two separate tracking 3D models (line and surface models).

The dynamic mode is the default tracking algorithm and provides increased results for most objects. Dynamic mode requires a single tracking 3D model, which has different properties from the line and surface models used in static mode.
