How do I send a message in an incident chat?

This article explains how to send a message in an incident chat.


If you create an incident as a technician or want to reply to an incoming incident as an expert, you can type a message and send it to the incident participants.

To do so, follow these steps:

1. Open the incident you want to send the message to.

2. Tap on the text box at the bottom of the incident chat.


3. Type in the message you want to send.

NOTE: You can use "*" and "-" for bullets and numbers (1., 2., ...) for lists. Paragraphs and other layouting options are supported as well.

4. Hit Enter or click the Send Icon at the right side of the text box.


Now the recipients will get a notification of the message on their screen and can text or call you back.
