How do I send a file in an incident chat?
Here you find the steps of how to send a file in an incident chat.
HOW TO SEND A FILE:
If you want to exchange files like photos or videos with other incident participants, follow these steps:
1. On the specific incident screen, click on the image icon in the bottom left-hand corner.

2. Choose a source. You have the following access options:
- Photo library – access to the camera roll of this device (filtered by photos)
- Video library – access to the camera roll of this device (filtered by videos)
- File explorer – access to all files of this device (Windows only)
- Take a photo directly and send it
- Record a video directly and send it
- Local – access to the in-app library
3. Select the file you want to send.
NOTE: To avoid a system overload, the number of files to be uploaded at the same time is limited (default setting=max. 5 uploads at a time).
4. (Optional) Depending on your file type, you can annotate your attachment before sending it to the incident participants. Therefore, tap on the edit icon in the top right-hand corner.

5. Hit the Send file button.

A preview of the file will be displayed in the incident chat.
